Inflation at lowest level for four years

Inflation is at its lowest level for four years.

The Consumer Prices Index fell to 1.7% last month, down from 1.9% in January.

The fall, which is partly down to lower fuel prices, means that the gap between pay increases and price rises continues to narrow.
