UKIP's Farage applauded at French Eurosceptic rally

UKIP leader Nigel Farage was greeted with sustained applause by French Eurosceptics at a rally in Paris.

Several hundred supporters of a conservative party, Debout la Republique (Stand up, the Republic!) heard the UK Independence Party leader speak at the launch of their European election campaign on Sunday. DLR is led by Nicolas Dupont-Aignan.

In his address, Mr Farage explained why he had chosen DLR as a partner in France.
