Three extends scheme scrapping roaming charges

Mobile phone giant Three is to extend the number of countries in which customers can use their phones without incurring roaming charges.

Users of the "Feel At Home" initiative will be able to access the internet, text and call from France, Switzerland, Israel, Finland and Norway using their existing phone and data allowances.

The scheme is already in operation in the US, Australia and Italy, and includes pay as you go customers.

Three's CEO Dave Dyson told BBC Radio 5 live's Wake Up to Money they were making the changes as customers resented high bills after holidays.
