Air France withdraws Transavia Europe plans
The French transport minister Alain Vidalies has said in a radio interview that Air France is withdrawing its plans to develop its Transavia Europe budget unit, that are at the heart of a labour dispute with pilots.
The pilot strike has now entered its 10th day.
However, the French prime minister Manuel Valls has already warned that with losses of up to 20 million Euros a day, Air France's very future is in question if a solution is not found soon.
