Asia's poverty 'underestimated' says development bank
The number of people who live in poverty across the Asia-Pacific region is being vastly underestimated, according to the Asian Development Bank.
It says the daily income, below which you are considered poor, is set too low for this region.
Shang-Jin Wei, is Chief Economist at the Asian Development Bank and he tells the BBC: "the task of eradicating extreme poverty is becoming more challenging."
