'Phone scammers stole £1,800 from us'

Police and banks are warning people not to be duped by telephone con artists, as new figures show phone scams have tripled in the past year.

Telephone fraud typically involves criminals calling people and making them believe they are speaking to their bank or a police officer.

The BBC's personal finance Correspondent Simon Gompertz reports.
