Greece election: How Syriza's victory could affect UK farmers

A Shropshire farmer has said he expects Syriza's victory in the Greek general election will have a negative impact on the UK farming industry.

Richard Yates told the BBC's Joanne Writtle that because a third of British lambs are exported to France at this time of year, new concerns over the euro could reduce sales to the continent.

Mr Yates said he was already struggling as he is losing £60,000 a year due to pressures on the dairy side of his farm.
