Why red lingerie is big in Asia

Red is seen as a lucky colour in Asia, expected to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck.

As consumers welcome the Lunar New Year, many in Asia will be wearing red and that includes underwear.

Triumph, the biggest underwear maker in Asia, says in Malaysia and Singapore its sales of red items are usually ten times higher at this time of year.
