Malaysia sells itself as a food lover's paradise because of its mix of cultures.

The country's most important branding tool may be Chef Wan.

He first studied in the US, then France before he was given a cooking show in Malaysia.

In 2010, he was named a food ambassador for the country.

In the latest of BBC World News' Taste of Asia series Jennifer Pak speaks to the celebrity chef about the secrets to his success.
