BHS hearing: Sir Philip Green 'sad' at store's decline

The former boss of BHS, Sir Philip Green, has told MPs he wants to apologise to all BHS workers over the company's collapse.

"Nothing is more sad than how this has ended," he said.

Administrators announced earlier this month that the chain, which Sir Phillip sold for £1 last year, was being wound up - with the loss of 11,000 jobs.
