‘You cannot force people’ to share bank data

Britain's High Street banks should bring in apps and data sharing to allow more customers to switch, the Competition and Markets Authority (CMA) have announced.

The move is a "big development" which should increase innovation, says Anthony Browne of the British Bankers Association.

But speaking to the Today programme he cautions that people should be able to keep their data to themselves, if they want to.
