Fees battle inside Parliament and out
The coalition survived its biggest parliamentary test to date as MPs supported the plans to raise student tuition fees in England.
The government's majority was cut to just 21 and 3 ministerial aides have resigned.
But for much of the late afternoon and evening demonstrators including many students were involved in violent scuffles with police.
