'More money' for EMA replacement
There is to be more money spent on the scheme to replace the Educational Maintenance Allowance (EMA) in England.
The allowance was paid to students from poorer backgrounds and following a sustained campaign and mass protests by students, ministers have decided to put more money into the replacement scheme.
Labour says it is a humiliating reversal of policy.
