Lord Digby Jones: 'Connect getting a skill with earning money'

Former trade minister Lord Digby Jones is calling for a change to the current rules compelling children to stay in school until they are 16.

Lord Jones believes unruly pupils would be better off getting jobs and starting apprenticeships than being forced to stay in the classroom.

Kenny Frederick, Head Teacher of George Green School in Tower Hamlets says: "If it were that simple we'd all be doing it."
