The moment A-level students get their results

Almost 250,000 teenagers in England, Wales and Northern Ireland will receive their A-level results.

Those hoping to go to university face stiff competition because there is record demand for places this year, before higher tuition fees are introduced in England in 12 months.

The BBC's Colette Hume joined some students at Cardiff and Vale College as they found out their results.
