Students believe degrees are no longer value for money

A survey suggests more than half of young people do not think higher education is good value and are choosing to study at home to save money.

Many students up and down the UK are enjoying their freshers' week, but with fees of up to £9,000 on the horizon, next year's university applicants have some hard choices to make.

Chris Buckler went to Northumbria University to ask if the experience itself is worth more than money can buy.
