Education Secretary Nicky Morgan back education changes
Education Secretary Nicky Morgan has defended changes to the education system, saying that standards have "held steady" and that teachers and students had "coped admirably".
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, she said the government wanted to "lift the cap on aspiration".
Her comments came as thousands of pupils in in England, Wales and Northern Ireland received their A-level and AS-level results.
