Disruptive behaviour damaging pupils' life chances - Ofsted
Poor behaviour in classrooms in England is damaging children's education, according to an Ofsted report.
It suggests that low-level disruption, like swinging on chairs, passing notes around or using a mobile phone, is causing some pupils to lose up to an hour of learning a day or 38 days of teaching a year.
Breakfast's Graham Satchell has been to one school in Stockton-on-Tees which has adopted a no-tolerance approach, to see if it has made a difference.
