Council leaders warning over primary place funding

Council leaders are warning that primary schools in England could be pushed to breaking point by the cost of creating places for extra pupils.

The government has already allocated almost £7.5 billion to create extra classrooms, but the Local Government Association says that still leaves a shortfall.
