With 17 days of campaigning left, the SNP launched its manifesto pledging increased public spending and an end to austerity and cuts.
Nicola Sturgeon promised that if her party won influence at Westminster she would represent the needs of voters across the UK.
Sinn Fein launched its manifesto too, saying it would seek an extra £1.5bn for Northern Ireland in any post-election negotiations.
And the deadline to register to vote in the general election is midnight on Monday 20 April.
