Labour pledge on stamp duty for first-time buyers
Labour has promised to suspend stamp duty on all homes worth less than £300,000, if it forms the next government.
The party said the policy would be funded by a clampdown on landlords who avoid tax, and taxes for foreign property investors.
It is part of a package of measures to help first-time buyers.
Lucy Manning reports.
