Election 2015: Leaders on 'no majority' tweet

A row has broken out about claims that David Cameron privately told the Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg in a conversation before the election campaign that he did not believe the Conservatives would win a majority.

The Conservatives have angrily described the story as "100% not true" and the prime minister said Nick Clegg was becoming "increasingly desperate".

Labour leader Ed Miliband also reacted to the story.

"Other leaders, I gather are conceding the outcome of this election....we're fighting every step of the way for the next 72 hours and more," he said.
