Green Party NI unveils general election manifesto

The Green Party of Northern Ireland has launched its manifesto, saying it prioritises the protection of public services over austerity.

Leader Steven Agnew says the party wants a non-violent, grassroots revolution for democracy and sustainability.

The party, who is is standing five candidates, say they want to invest in energy-efficient social housing to deal with the problems of homelessness and fuel poverty while at the same time creating construction jobs.
