Election 2015: Parties ponder spending decisions

The Liberal Democrats have promised to stop other parties cutting too much or borrowing too much, if they have influence in the next parliament.

But the SNP say the Lib Dems misunderstand the reality of what voters really want, while Scottish Labour say only a vote for them can ensure a new government.

The Scottish Conservatives say people have underestimated the coalition government.
