Osborne promises funding agreement for Wales under Tories

Chancellor George Osborne has restated his pledge to negotiate Wales' funding settlement if the Tories gets back into power.

He said he would hold talks with the Welsh government but he could not yet give details of the exact level.

He insisted the Welsh economy had grown faster than any other part of the UK under the Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition government and said 50,000 jobs had been created.

Mr Osborne spoke to Oliver Hides on BBC Radio Wales' Good Morning Wales programme during a campaign visit to south Wales.
