Craig Mackinlay holds South Thanet for the Conservatives

Craig Mackinlay, who held South Thanet on a bad night for the Conservatives, used his acceptance speech to refer to "various organisations" who he said had tried to "break my legs for this election",

He was referring to the police investigation into his expenses for the 2015 election, which led to him being charged last week.
