No ornaments for Tate's Christmas tree

Tate Britain's Christmas tree is completely devoid of tinsel, baubles and all festive decorations this year.

The natural look for the gallery's centrepiece is the idea of artist Giorgio Sadotti, who said he wanted to reject ''faintly ridiculous ornaments''.
