Noah and the Whale's LA inspiration

Noah and the Whale have produced three very different sounding albums in just three years and faced a lot of changes with the departures of singer Laura Marling and then drummer and co-founder Doug Fink.

Lead singer and co-founder Charlie Fink said that although the band has changed he thought it was important to stick to the band's original name.

The singer told BBC Breakfast about the influences behind the band's third album, Last Night On Earth, which has featured in the top 40 charts since its release in March.
