Jerry Leiber's influence on Elvis Presley

The pop lyricist Jerry Leiber, whose hits with songwriting partner Mike Stoller include Elvis Presley's Hound Dog and Jailhouse Rock, has died at the age of 78.

Leiber and Stoller also wrote songs for The Coasters and Ben E King among others.
