Jonathan Ross: 'I wasn't overpaid'

Former BBC presenter Jonathan Ross has defended his salary while he was at the BBC. Several critics cited his pay - rumoured to be around £6m a year - as excessive.

Ross became one of the BBC's highest paid stars but decided not to renegotiate his contract and left in July 2010 after 13 years with the corporation.

He told Radio 5 live's Richard Bacon the BBC should have done more to defend the contract.
