Downton Abbey scoops four prizes at the Emmy Awards

Downton Abbey picked up the most awards for a British drama at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday night.

Among the four awards, the period drama won Best Mini Series and Best Supporting Actress for Dame Maggie Smith.

Gareth Neam is the show's Executive Producer and told Radio 5 live Breakfast about the programme's success in the United States.
