Michael Winner: Ken Russell 'pushed the barriers'

Filmmaker Michael Winner has paid tribute to the British director, Ken Russell, who has died at the age of 84.

Russell, whose films included the Oscar-nominated Women In Love and The Who's rock opera, Tommy, died peacefully in his sleep on Sunday.

Michael Winner described him as a "one-off", who "made an enormous contribution to English cinema".
