Syrian poet Adonis on artistic political protest

The Syrian poet, Adonis, has been translated into many languages around the world and is a major figure in Arab culture.

He has lived in Paris for the past 30 years. He has now written to President Assad calling for an end to all violence in Syria.

Anwar Hamed from BBC Arabic spoke to him at The Mosaic Rooms in London.
