Giant sculptures dominate London street

A major exhibition of sculptures by Tony Cragg has been unveiled on London's Exhibition Road.

It is the first such display to go on show since the street was partly pedestrianised earlier this year.

With some standing more than five metres tall, the works showcase the sculptor's techniques using various materials including bronze, steel and wood.

More of his sculptures are on display inside the neighbouring Science, Natural History and Victoria and Albert Museums.

The exhibition is curated by the Cass Sculpture Foundation and part of the London 2012 Festival, a UK-wide arts programme running across 12 weeks of the Olympic year.
