Sheridan Smith: 'I want to be a chameleon'

Sheridan Smith starred as the lead of Ibsen's Hedda Gabler at Old Vic in London on Wednesday night.

The Laurence Olivier Award-winning actress has had a busy year - she also stars in three films, Quartet, Tower Block and Hysteria, and her recent television appearances include Mr Biggs and Accused.

She told the BBC's Tim Masters she was attempting to be a "chameleon" with a variety of roles, but was apologetic about her success.

"I apologise to anyone if my face is getting on your nerves," she said.
