The Troggs 'influenced a whole generation'
Reg Presley, the lead singer of the 1960s rock band the Troggs, has died at the age of 71 after a battle with lung cancer.
Speaking to the Today programme, Martin Talbot, the managing director of The Official Charts Company, paid tribute to the band: "The Troggs influenced a whole generation of garage and punk bands from the US."
Reg Presley, he said, "carried on performing right the way through to the end. He was a very active person."
