Tracey Emin appointed CBE at Buckingham Palace
Turner Prize nominated artist Tracey Emin has been appointed CBE for services to the arts at Buckingham Palace.
The 49-year-old was honoured by the Princess Royal at an investiture ceremony on Thursday.
Emin, who was appointed Professor of Drawing at the Royal Academy in 2011, said it was an "amazing accolade" to receive.
"It's not just for me, it's for art in general," she told BBC News.
