Oprah Winfrey 'was victim of racism' in Switzerland
US talk show star Oprah Winfrey says she believes she was the victim of racism during a recent visit to Switzerland.
She said an assistant refused to serve her in an upmarket handbag shop in Zurich.
The owner of the store, Trudie Goetz, told the BBC's Tim Willcox that the incident was a "misunderstanding".
Winfrey's claims, made to a US television programme, come amid a political row in Switzerland over asylum-seekers' rights.
