Alex James on the 'Blur' effect
We all know that learning the alphabet and times-tables are important for a child's education - but how about pop music?
According to the Finnish musician, Liisa Henriksson-Macaulay, playing music before the age of 7 can significantly improve a child's IQ.
Her campaign is being backed by the former Blur musician Alex James. They joined BBC Breakfast to talk about the benefits of music on IQ levels.
