Bruce Forsyth: Boris Johnson should be next Strictly host

Sir Bruce Forsyth has announced he is stepping down as presenter of Strictly Come Dancing after a decade fronting the show.

The 86-year-old said it was the "right time to step down from the rigours" of hosting the live shows but he will continue to work on pre-recorded Strictly shows for Christmas and Children In Need.

Sir Bruce said he thought Boris Johnson would be an ideal candidate to replace him,
