Tim Burgess: Playing without Jon is 'continuously hard'
The Charlatans frontman Tim Burgess has said playing without late drummer Jon Brookes has been "continuously hard."
Brookes died in 2013 aged 44 after suffering from a brain tumour.
Burgess said the band "couldn't replace him" so have used guest drummers for the band's forthcoming album.
Speaking with BBC Radio 5 live's Richard Bacon, Burgess said: "We feel like he's there with us when we're making our records. He's just coming from somewhere different."
