BBC presenter Derek Cooper dies aged 88

Former BBC presenter Derek Cooper, who founded the long-running Radio 4 show The Food Programme, has died, aged 88.

He was appointed OBE in 1997 and honoured at the 2001 Sony Awards for his pioneering work on food.
