Robert Plant 'fascinated by the rhythm of North Africa'

Robert Plant is best known from his days as the lead singer of Led Zeppelin but he has spent most of his career as a solo artist, drawing influences from across the musical spectrum.

His latest album Lullaby and… the Ceaseless Roar is a long way from his rock roots.

He told BBC Breakfast that he is "fascinated by rhythm and the scales of north Africa".
