Bob Geldof on dealing with Peaches' death

Bob Geldof spoke to John Wilson from Front Row about the recent re-forming of The Boomtown Rats, and the release of a new compilation of classic Rats tracks.

He said the band was like a surrogate family, and singing with the Rats again had helped him cope with the death of his daughter Peaches, who died earlier this year.

You can listen to the interview in full on BBC Front Row at 7.15pm.

The Boomtown Rats 2014 Ratlife UK tour runs from 18 October to 7 November
