Yael Farber's The Crucible set for big screen move

Yael Farber's sell-out production of Arthur Miller's The Crucible is transferring from the Old Vic stage to the silver screen - for two nights only.

The play, starring Richard Armitage, will be screened in over 350 cinemas across the UK on the 4 and 7 December 2014.

Director Yael Farber and actress Anna Madeley spoke to BBC News about the process of turning a theatrical experience into a cinematic one, and what the trend for showing plays in cinemas could mean for theatre.
