Pharrell and Sheeran win at BBC Music Awards
The US producer-songwriter Pharrell Williams has been named named best international artist at the first ever BBC Music Awards.
He also won song of the year for his single Happy.
Ed Sheeran was named British act of the year and thanked everyone "who's bought a record, bought a ticket, streamed on YouTube or listened to my music".
The ceremony also saw performances from One Direction, Take That and Coldplay.
