Benedict Cumberbatch at Baftas for Alan Turing portrayal

Alan Turing's family has been "incredibly supportive" of Benedict Cumberbatch's portrayal of the computer scientist in The Imitation Game, the actor told the BBC's Lizo Mzimba.

Speaking outside the Baftas, the best actor nominee said he was pleased the film had been received so well, but it was a "crying shame" that David Oyelowo was not also on the red carpet, after a "spell-binding, flawless performance" in Selma.
