James May: 'Dropping Jeremy Clarkson is a tragedy'

Former Top Gear colleague James May has said that the departure of Jeremy Clarkson is a "tragedy".

Clarkson's contract will not be renewed after an "unprovoked physical attack" on a Top Gear producer, the BBC's director general has confirmed.
