Sixx AM challenge YouTube payments
Rock group Sixx AM challenge YouTube to reform the way it pays musicians.
Speaking to the BBC, the band said the video streaming site, and its parent company Google, needed to stick to their corporate motto, "do the right thing," in its dealings with artists.
Their comments come as YouTube's contracts with the world's biggest record labels expire, triggering a round of heated negotiations.
More artists are expected to weigh into the debate in coming days.
