Why ex-US spy chief likes children's stories

The World at One, broadcasting from the Hay literature festival, is asking people to name books that have been passed down to them, and one volume they would like to hand over to the next generation.

The former head of the CIA, General Michael Hayden, told Martha Kearney why children's stories, including The Chronicles of Narnia, are at the top of his list.
